Indiewire 15 Best Soundtracks of 2013

Last saturday, I playlisted Indiewire chart of best film scores of the year. Now it's time to do the same with 15 Best Soundtracks list. These are mostly great collections of previously released pop, rock & jazz songs: you get music by Elton John and Nick Drake, Kevin Ayers and Gloria Jones, M.I.A. and Kanye West, Foxygen and MGMT, Blur and Primal Scream... plus some newly composed tracks (like those in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire). Not all official albums are available on Spotify, but all soundtracks are included in the playlists (at least, partially). See below for more explanations.

Complete series of Spotirama end-of-2013 playlists (with charts by Amazon, BuzzFeed, Indiewire, Jazzwise, Les Inrockuptibles, Mojo, NPR, Paste, PopMatters, Pretty Much Amazing, Q, Renowned for Sound, Revolver, Rolling Stone, Rough Trade, Stereogum, Uncut, The Wire, Zane Lowe)

(full albums, from #1 to #15)

(3 tracks each album, from #1 to #15)
