What:
Tenth rock history lesson, courtesy of italian magazine Il Mucchio and its old Classic Rock special features (published in Italy in the 1990s). After Punk, New Wave, Dark/Gothic, Hard Rock, Psychedelia, Power Pop, Canterbury, Reggae and Krautrock, this time we pay tribute to some great blues played by white men (and women). The selection was made by Mucchio's founder and editor-in-chief Max Stefani. Curiously, most of the top 10 albums are available on Spotify, while most of the second choices are not. Nothing else to say... but one thing: listening to Janis Joplin's Summertime around midnight in wintertime is really a haunting way to feel the blues. Enjoy!
