Primavera, again! Next weekend I will be in Barcelona, to attend the Primavera Sound Festival. Five days of rock, cerveza and Champions League (with the final Barça-ManUtd screened in the festival area). In the line up: Pulp, Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian, The National, Interpol, Mercury Rev (playing Deserter's Songs), PJ Harvey, Sufjan Stevens, The Walkmen, DJ Shadow, Girl Talk and many many many more. Hope you can be there, too: Barcelona is great, the atmosphere is really good and the festival is placed by the sea (with a Montjuic ouverture and final night). This is a huge playlist based on the festival line up. As democratic as ever, it includes artists playing in all the stages: the Anglo-saxon heavyweights along with wonderfully-named Spanish bands (Disco Las Palmeras!, Eladio y los seres queridos, Espaldamaceta, La celula durmiente, Manos de Topo, Triangulo de Amor Bizarro...).
