This year, Pete Tong celebrates twenty years in dance music and to mark this epic milestone Pete will be counting down the top twenty dance tracks from the last 2 decades as voted for by listeners to BBC Radio 1. The shortlist of 50 was generated by Radio 1 DJs, dance DJs and key industry figures nominating their top 10 dance tracks since 1991 - each track submitted was scored according to its place within those charts with the 50 highest scoring tracks making the longlist.
The final Top 20, voted by BBC Radio 1 listeners, was broadcast in the 8th of April show. Here you find the Spotify countdown version. And, showing all my magnanimousness, the 50-song shortlist playlist, too. Enjoy!

absolutely a great top 20 of all-time electonic dance tunes, cafe del mar fully deserved the number one position & you know why the top 3 was fully dominated by Trance Music?
ReplyDeleteI know, it's because, Trance Music was once one of the best if not the best eledtronic dance music subgenre at the time, unfortunately nowadays, Trance is dead, what is now called Trance is just jokes.
