Acclaimed Music Top 20 Songs of 1920s

In the second half of 2010 I started a "history of music" Spotify project based on Best Ever Albums charts. I made some year-by-year album playlists, but I got some problems because of the scarcity of albums available for many years. Now, I found a better source called Acclaimed Music. Basically, it's a list of 3000 albums and 3000 songs, ranked through an algorythm that counts critics lists, "best of", magazine charts and so on. Acclaimed Music database collects more albums than Best Ever Albums' one. There is a section dedicated to songs, too. And, generally speaking, I think it's more accurate. So I decided to start a new and more ambitious "history of music" project, based on Acclaimed Music. It will include some decade Top 20 playlists for the 1920s, the 1930s, the 1940s and the 1950s. Then I will start publishing Top 20 playlists (both songs and albums) for each year from 1960 to 2010. It's a weekly project, so it should keep me busy for the whole 2011. Let's start with some real real real real oldies: Top 20 songs from the 1920s. Enjoy!
