It’s Halloween week, so here’s our equivalent of a well-stocked goodie cauldron: FACT’s guide to the 100 greatest horror scores of all time. (...) The following list runs the gamut from curios to blockbusters, from fan-assembled bootlegs to charting LPs. Cult classics and video nasties are amply represented: for every Carpenter and Craven flick, there’s a Surf Nazis Must Die or Slumber Party Massacre. Bear in mind however that this is a list of original soundtracks, which eliminates classics such as The Shining, The Exorcist and, err, The Return of the Living Dead.

I spotified it. Or, well, I tried. It seems that Spotify have some great problems with horror movie soundtracks: just 37 albums are available (sometimes with only one or two tracks of them). Anyway, I think these playlists are a good halloween snack for fangorians. If you want a more complete and satisfying meal, check Fact for a YouTube playlist and some good infos for each album.
