As part of the latest Mojo magazine’s 21-page celebration of all things Led Zeppelin, we’ve compiled the ultimate rundown of tracks by the world’s ultimate rock band. It was no easy task, but with the help of The Black Keys, Jeff Beck, Billy Gibbons, Rick Rubin and YOU, we’re delighted to present these 50 moments of Zeppelin magnificence.
Some stats before the music: most songs (32) are from first four albums. II and IV are fully in it, while just two songs from I (You Shook Me, Your Time Is Gonna Come) and two from III (Out on the Tiles, Hats Off To [Roy] Harper) are not in the chart. The rest comes mostly from Houses of the Holy (six songs) and Physical Graffiti (nine songs). Last three albums? The desert. Just two songs from Presence, one from In Through Out the Door, nada from Coda.
