While listening to the new album by Alice In Chains The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, I suddenly felt an overwhelming need for grunge. The one from the good ol' times, from the 90s: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Staley's Alice In Chains... Then I decided to surf for some good genre charts online. I found plenty of them. Not from the big media side of the Web, but rising from the land of blogs, radios, fans, communities. All smelling like a warm memory of teen spirit. So I played a game: I picked 12 of these charts and I assigned some points to each song. 100 points for #1, 99 for #2, 98 for #3 and so on.
The result is the following Top 50, that I soon spotified and that now is lovely soundtracking a little insomniac mid-june night.
Grungely enjoy!

THE SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
TRIVIA
These are the single charts I datamined. As you can see, sources are quite different: blogs, radios, even youtube users. I followed just one rule: at least 25 songs for chart. I assumed it as a proof of love and, somehow, quality. Making a Top 10 is a quick and easy shot, making a Top 25 requires you some more time & passion.
