The Beatles Covers Project on Spotify (a tribute-collection of all Beatles albums, track by track)

In 2010 Beatles music is not legally available on Internet, yet. It sounds absurd but it's true. This means you can't find Beatles original recordings on Spotify (nor iTunes or AmazonMP3). Instead, you can find many covers, tributes, renditions. Beatles are so much important for our culture and our music, that each of their songs have been played and recorded several times by different artists. The Beatles Covers Project is a collection of every Beatles album, track by track. A kind of big tribute to the Fab Four art, built digging in the deep Spotify catalogue, ourtesy of Beach Boys and Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, Peter Sellers and Bill Cosby, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix, U2 and Oasis, Elton John and David Bowie, Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald, Sonic Youth and Belle & Sebastian, and many many more (each artist plays just one song, so there are almost 200 artists involved!).

The list includes many big names, but also more obscure folk singers, tribute bands, jazz pianists, classical orchestras, angry punkers and brave electrowizards. Almost always coming from the future, sometimes coming from the past (in their first albums, Beatles actually covered some already existing songs).
